New Headquarters Persiba Need Additional Fund Rp 400 Billion

Balikpapan City Government of East Kalimantan has allowed the use of Batakan Stadium to hold the competition Liga 1 Indonesia 2017. Stadium worth Rp 1.4 trillion was held the inaugural match Persiba Balikpapan vs Persigres Gresik ends with a final score 3-0.

In addition, the Balikpapan Municipal Government is also thinking about the need of a proper road connecting facility between Batakan Stadium and Jalan Mulawarman as far as 1 kilometer. Currently, the connecting road is still a muddy hardening of soil if watered by rain.

Completion of these facilities and infrastructure, Tara calculated at least need a substantial budget allocation. “It still needs Rp 400 billion more,” he said.This budget has not been scheduled in discussion with Parliament Balikpapan.

Currently, the municipal government of Balikpapan is considering a stadium management system that is planned to hold private parties. This third party can refer to other stadium management system that is quite successful for example at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakabaring Stadium Palembang or Gelora Bandung Stadium of Fire.

“But in the future we are wondering whether the PU is managed or we form a self-management. Or it could be a third party, “he explained.
